Winter 2013 make-up trends

With winter just around the corner, we are seeing new make-up trends hit the catwalks and featured in fashion editorials for glossy magazines.

There a few make-up trends dominating and it are great they can easily be converted into realistic wearable make-up styles for us to enjoy.

Natural earthy toned Smokey eyes are in, UK model Cara Delevingne's make-up styles have been a fashion hit with a fuller darker brow very hot at the moment. Cara often wears a natural looking earthy brown smoky eye that is gorgeous and looks great on her blue eyes. Loose Matt eyeshades are perfect to create this look.

A heavily contoured Smokey eye with a difference is also in. The difference of this look is the centre of the eyelid is quite defined and noticeable in a lighter shade, with the deeper contour shade very defined and sometimes circling the contour area and both the top and bottom lash line. This makes then eyes appear large and glamorous, as we have seen on the catwalks. This look worn with a neutral nude to pink lip is perfect.

Defined contour lines are in. Coloured Graphic lines and liner of last season are still popular. Bright lips are also popular

Metallic tones and jewelled eye shadow looks are in with a mix of sometimes three shades worn on the lid or contour area and lower lash line is popular. Colours such as deep greens, plum/purple, navy, and metallic gold applied to the inner eye corners to set the look off.

Bright red lips and the dramatic burgundy red lipare popular. Think Hollywood starlet. A softer natural minimal eye or a soft natural Smokey eye looks gorgeous with the statement lip.

This winter we will be seeing glam make-up looks we can also enjoy wearing them ;-)
